The summit path is lined with Alpenroses, meadows and slopes of alpine flowers. We reach an idyllic plateau with a mud lake from which the summit is only a few minutes walk away.
Fun & ActionThis tour starts in Aschau and takes you along the "Viehgasse" in the "Oberen Grund". After crossing the "Oberen Grund" stream you continue to the mountain pastures towards the end of the valley. After passing the "Grundalm" hut you reach the junction "Hirzeggalm/Spießnägel".
Take the right-hand path which serpentines through the forest to the "Hirzeggalm".
