Hohe Salve circular tour

We start the tour by the idyllic "Filzalm" lake at Hochbrixen (after taking the cable car). Path Nr. 95 will take us up to the summit of the Hohen Salve. Just after the "Kälbersalvenalm" we take a right and join route Nr. 71 until we reach the "Inneren Keatalm" at an altitude of 1,494 m. Our journey then takes us under the lift to the "Äußeren Keatalm" in Hochsöll. The high circular path then takes us into the mountains of Hopfgarten.

"At Gasthof Rigi ( 1,530m) we can treat ourselves to a short break. The Gasthof Rigi was voted the most beautiful mountain Gasthof of the Kitzbühler Alps on the Mountain hut Championships in 2007!". From here you can take lift up to the summit of the Hohen Salve. Refreshed we return to the "Kälbersalvenalm" and enjoy a quite moment at the "Filzalm" lake.

Alternative:
Take path Nr. 99 from "Filzalm" lake via the "Frankalm" and "Silleralm" until you reach Hochsöll, this is very popular with families. After about 1 hour you reach the mountain adventure park "Hexenwasser" (Witches water). Here children and adults can learn in a fun way the secrets of nature. For the return journey you can take the comfortable path via Hopfgarten or the steep path over the summit of the Hohen Salve (an extra 1 hour is needed).
