An easy walk for young and old in the heart of the "Windau" valley! The "Windau" is one of the most popular recreation areas and has plenty of hidden treasures. You travel throug hills and meadows and get to know the mountain life close at hand. The "Windauer" stream, a largely undeveloped wild stream, is one of the valleys most unique highlight - whether on a picnic or by paddling - the stream invites you to relax and enjoy. Custom and traditions are large part of life in the valley - also in the culinary sense - the "Gasthäuer" (Lendwirt, Jägerhäusl, Steinberghaus and Gamskogelhütte) serve dishes from trout to game as well as a variety of home made meals.
