Walking tour to the "Großen Rettenstein"

With the car or taxi travel to the car park at the toll station in the Ebenau. From here you take the tarmac road to the Hintenbachalm, were we take the left hand path and travel along the forest road, passing the Sonnwendalm and the Hirzeggalm crossing until we reach the Schöntalalm. From here we take the steep path nr. 21 passing the Schöntalscherm and the Schöntalquelle until we reach the summit of the Großen rettenstein. After a short rest we make the return journey via the same route that we came.
